CLINICAL DERMATOLOGY
The skin is the human organ most susceptible to disease, with around three thousand conditions, including melanoma, dermatitis, warts, molluscum contagiosum, acne and hair disorders, which are often the main reasons for medical consultations.
These conditions affect people of all ages, from children to older adults.
What we treat
MOLE MAPPING
Mole mapping, when performed regularly, aims to diagnose melanoma in its earliest stages by detecting the appearance of new moles or any changes in existing ones.
ACNE
Acne is the eighth most common condition worldwide, with an estimated prevalence of 9.4%, affecting approximately 650 million people. This condition is particularly widespread during adolescence.
SKIN CONDITIONS
A dermatological consultation is essential for diagnosing and treating skin conditions such as dermatitis, erythema, urticaria, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo and other skin disorders. It also serves to monitor the progression of previously diagnosed conditions.
VIRAL WARTS
Warts are among the most common viral skin infections and are caused by specific types of HPV (Human Papillomavirus); clinically, they appear as small skin growths.
PATCH TEST
Patch testing is an important allergy examination used to diagnose contact dermatitis and currently remains the main method for confirming or excluding a suspected diagnosis based on clinical manifestations.
SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES
Sexually transmitted infections are a group of infectious diseases spread mainly through direct contact during sexual activity, including oral and anal intercourse.
